Nikki is AMAZING and incredibly patient with beginners (like myself). She's great at pushing you when you need it, but yet very diligent about making sure you're not attempting positions that are above your ability and potentially hurting yourself. She's a joy to spend a class with. Go - you won't regret it.

Nikki is a phenomenally skilled instructor who also happens to be down-to-earth and a lot of fun! Her classes are a great mix of the serious and the silly, both vigorous and meditative, all in a beautiful, warm environment. Love her!!!

Nikki is a fantastic instructor, I am so grateful that she has brought the gift of Ashtanga yoga to our little village of Woodstock. We are really lucky to have her here. Ashtanga is a very serious and pure form of yoga, the practice makes you sweat while opening your heart and mind. I'm already a regular! Nikki is kind, patient, dedicated and non-judgemental - she has all the best qualities the best yoga teachers across the land possess. Looking forward to much more! Thank you!

Nikki is a wonderful teacher!! I have learned so much in such a short amount of time. She patiently gives guidance when needed and emits a positive energy. I walk out of her class feeling very uplifted both mentally and physically. I look forward to the class every week and will be looking to join a second weekly class. The atmosphere is peaceful and inviting - and incredibly friendly as she invites her students into her home. She obviously cares deeply for her students, taking everyone's needs into consideration, demonstrating alternate poses for anyone with any injuries or disabilities. Thank you Nikki for being such a great mentor!

Wow... Just, wow. Nikki is an incredible instructor whose compassion and wisdom comes through in every asana, every breath count. Her adjustments are always timely and on point. Before practicing with Nikki, my position on Ashtanga was very different. Because Ashtanga sequences are much the same- primary, half-primary etc. I was concerned that always doing the same practice would leave me feeling both bored and unchallenged. The opposite is true. With subtle suggestions and genuine encouragement I have found that my Ashtanga practice is never the same. Intimidation does not exist at YogaMari - Nikki makes sure to remind us all of our humanness with a gentle sense of humor. YogaMari, the wonderful people who practice there, and their fearless instructor never cease to amaze me. I have come further than I thought possible and I look forward to growing more in the year to come.

Nikki is an outstanding instructor - kind, generous, nurturing, and inspiring! YogaMari changed the way I think and feel about yoga and about my own abilities. Whether you are a beginner or advanced, Nikki meets you at your skill level and is with you every step of the way. Truly transforming!

Nikki is a talented and patient instructor. At 66 I had never taken a Yoga class. Nikki welcomed me to the beginner class and was willing and able to adjust my practice to my physical abilities. She has a wonderful sense of humor and her voice and manner show enjoyment as she explains not only the practice but the history and meaning of Ashtanga Yoga.
